Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Edward E. Cohen has been our Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since our formation in 2006. He has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Atlas America since its formation in September 2000. He has been Chairman of the Board of Resource America, Inc. (a publicly-traded specialized asset management company) since 1990 and was its Chief Executive Officer from 1988 until 2004, and President from 2000 until 2003. In addition, Mr. Cohen has been Chairman of the Managing Board of Atlas Pipeline Partners GP, LLC, the general partner of Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P., since its formation in 1999, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Pipeline Holdings GP, LLC, the general partner of Atlas Pipeline Holdings, L.P., since its formation in January 2006. He is also Chairman of the Board of Resource Capital Corp. (a publicly-traded real estate investment trust) since its formation in September 2005, a Director of TRM Corporation (a publicly-traded consumer services company) since 1998 and Chairman of the Board of Brandywine Construction & Management, Inc. (a property management company) since 1994.

Vice Chairman of the Board
Jonathan Z. Cohen has been Vice Chairman of the Board since our formation in 2006 and has been the Vice Chairman of Atlas America since its formation in 2000. He has been a senior officer of Resource America since 1998, serving as the Chief Executive Officer since 2004, President since 2003 and a Director since 2002. Mr. Cohen has been Vice Chairman of the Managing Board of Atlas Pipeline Partners GP since its formation in 1999, Vice Chairman of the Board of Atlas Pipeline Holdings GP since its formation in 2006, Chief Executive Officer, President and a Director of Resource Capital Corp. since its formation in 2005, and a Trustee and Secretary of RAIT Investment Trust (a publicly-traded real estate investment trust) since 1997 and its Vice Chairman since 2003.
Richard D. Weber
President, Chief Operating Officer and Director
Richard D. Weber has been our President, Chief Operating Officer and a Director since our formation in 2006. Mr. Weber served from 1997 to 2006 as Managing Director and Group Head of the Energy Group of KeyBanc Capital Markets, a division of KeyCorp, and its predecessor, McDonald & Company Securities, Inc. As part of his duties, he oversaw the bank's activities with oil and gas producers, pipeline companies and utilities. He has a particular expertise in the Appalachian Basin, where he led more than 40 transactions, including the IPOs of Atlas America, Inc. and Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P. and the sale of Viking Resources Corporation to Atlas America.
R. Randle Scarborough
Director
Mr. Scarborough has been the managing member of Scarborough Properties, LLC, a Philadelphia area based real estate development company, since 1980. Over the past thirty years, he has developed numerous real estate projects in the Philadelphia metropolitan and southern New Jersey areas, including condominium projects, shopping centers, office complexes, marinas and single family lots. Mr. Scarborough is a graduate from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Walter C. Jones
Director
Walter C. Jones has been the General Counsel and Senior Director of Private Equity for GRAVITAS Capital Advisors, LLC, an independent investment advisory firm since 2005. From 1994 to 2005, Mr. Jones was with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, where he served as Manager for Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as for seven years a senior officer in the Finance Department.
Ellen F. Warren
Director
Ellen F. Warren is Founder and President of OutSource Communications, a marketing communications firm that serves corporate and non-profit clients. Prior to founding OutSource Communications in 2005, she was President of Levy Warren Marketing Media, a public relations and marketing firm she co-founded in 1998. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Marketing/Communications for Jefferson Bank, a Philadelphia-based financial institution from 1992 to 1998.
Bruce M. Wolf
Director
Bruce M. Wolf has been President of Homard Holdings, LLC, a wine manufacturer and distributor, since 2003. Mr. Wolf has been of counsel with Picadio, Sneath, Miller & Norton, P.C., Pittsburgh, PA, since 2003. Additionally, since 1999, Mr. Wolf has been a consultant in connection with energy and securities matters, conducting research and providing expert testimony and litigation support. Mr. Wolf was a Senior Vice President of Atlas America from 1998 to 1999 and, before that, Secretary and General Counsel of Atlas Energy Group from 1980.
